At the Kopster Hotel, doing things differently is part of the DNA. And for Easter 2025, the team once again broke away from the ordinary, offering a quirky, mouth-watering experience. From 3rd to 20th April, loyal guests, curious passers-by, and chocolate lovers were invited to take part in a simple yet addictive challenge: “Guess my weight and I’m yours.”
The star of this Easter event?
A chocolate monkey. Not your typical little Easter figure from the high street — this was a proper chocolate sculpture, proudly displayed in the hotel lobby, and it certainly didn’t go unnoticed. A one-of-a-kind creation, crafted by the talented chocolatier Nature & Cacao, known for its original pieces and love of quality cocoa.
A sculpture with presence
From the moment guests entered the hotel, eyes were drawn to the imposing chocolate monkey. Perched high on its pedestal, arms crossed and sporting a cheeky look, it seemed to size up every visitor. Made from premium dark chocolate and sculpted with remarkable precision, the monkey embodied everything Nature & Cacao stands for: creativity, artisan excellence, and playful flair.
It was impossible not to pause in front of it — and just as impossible not to imagine sinking your teeth into one of its legs (or its head, let’s be honest). But to win that chance, you had to play the game.
“Guess my weight”: a game that caused a stir
The rules were simple: for a minimum stake of €2, each participant could jot down their guess at the sculpture’s weight. Whoever came closest to the actual number would take home the chocolate prize.
And it’s safe to say the challenge was a hit. Within days, the notebook beside the monkey was bursting with entries, each more varied than the last. Some took a wild guess, others analysed the chocolate’s thickness, calculated volume, or even consulted their smart scales. All in a fun, relaxed atmosphere, filled with laughter and friendly debate between guests and staff alike.
Each day, more names were added. Hallway chatter buzzed with theories: “Do you reckon it’s over 3 kilos?”, “Does the base count?”, “Is it solid or hollow?” A true collective game, in pure Kopster style.
A moment of fun — and chocolate
On 20th April, the big reveal took place. The monkey’s exact weight was announced in front of an amused crowd. The lucky winner, whose guess came closest, was applauded in the lobby before proudly walking off with the Easter monkey — to a mix of cheers and slightly envious glances.
But beyond the victory, it was the spirit of sharing, surprise, and simple pleasure that defined Easter 2025 at Kopster Paris Porte de Versailles. The event brought generations together, broke the ice between guests, and created genuine moments of connection in everyday hotel life.
