Easter 2025 at Kopster Paris Ouest Colombes: a chocolate zebra, a golden ticket… and a good dose of shared fun!

At Kopster Paris Ouest Colombes, we never do things by halves – and Easter 2025 was no exception. From 3 to 20 April, the hotel was transformed into a chocolate-themed playground where young and old alike could combine strategy, intuition, indulgence and a touch of luck. Out with the traditional rabbits, in with something far more surprising: a chocolate zebra, as mesmerising as it was mouth-watering. Yes, you read that right – a zebra. Made of chocolate. Life-size? Not quite. But certainly big enough to gather a crowd in the lobby the moment it appeared.

“Guess my weight and I’m yours”

It all started with the zebra. But not just any zebra – a unique creation by Nature & Cacao, a renowned artisan chocolatier known for its edible sculptures and one-of-a-kind pieces made entirely from pure cocoa. Standing proudly at the hotel entrance, our chocolate zebra quickly became the centre of attention – and whetted quite a few appetites.

The rules of the game were deceptively simple:

· A minimum entry of €2

· One single question: “How much do I weigh, dear zebra?”

· One aim: to win the chocolate beast

This led to a parade of guesses – some well-thought-out, some utterly wild. There were technical approaches (yes, someone brought a calculator), bizarre comparisons (one guest matched it to their vacuum cleaner), and total gut feelings. Each encounter with the zebra sparked a pause, a laugh, a new tactic. Before long, a friendly yet competitive spirit took hold – with everyone secretly hoping to be the one to guess correctly (or close enough).

And someone did. A guest – whose identity we’ll keep secret to avoid any chocolate envy – hit the jackpot. Cue an impromptu prize-giving, spontaneous applause, and a photo with the sweet creature… before its (inevitable) delicious demise.

Sunday 20 April: brunch, chocolate and a hunt for the golden ticket

To wrap up this chocolatey interlude in style, Kopster went all out. On Sunday 20 April, the hotel bloomed in full spring spirit for a joyful, all-you-can-eat brunch – bringing together families, friends and the simply curious around lively tables. On offer: sweet and savoury treats, drinks galore, chocolate eggs aplenty, and pure good vibes.

But the real surprise? The golden ticket hunt. Inspired by the legendary Willy Wonka tales, this quest had children (and let’s be honest, a few grown-ups) scouring every corner of the hotel in search of the elusive prize. The winner discovered an exclusive surprise, carefully kept under wraps by the team – because at Kopster, mystery is part of the magic. A hint for next year? Let’s just say it was well worth a bit of sweat.

An edition full of laughter, chocolate… and emotion

More than just an event, Easter 2025 at Kopster Paris Ouest Colombes was a true celebration of joy. For nearly three weeks, the hotel resonated with children’s laughter, lively chatter in the lobby, animated brunch conversations and quiet smiles exchanged near the chocolate zebra.
